Job description:
Synopsys is conducting an interview for the post of ASIC Digital Design Engineer.
You are a passionate and driven ASIC Digital Design Engineer who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You have a solid understanding of digital design concepts and are eager to work on cutting-edge standard protocols such as PCIe, DDRx/LPDDRx, Ethernet, UFS, and USB. Your hands-on experience with scripting in Shell, Perl, or TCL, combined with your innovative problem-solving skills, makes you a valuable asset to any team. You possess superior communication skills and can balance judicious thinking with innovative solutions. You hold a BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics or related fields like VLSI Design/Microelectronics and are ready to take on challenges in subsystems architecture, design, verification, and implementation flows.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Architecting, designing, verifying, and implementing subsystems from requirements to delivery.
- Working on standard protocols, including PCIe (all generations), DDRx/LPDDRx, Ethernet, UFS, USB, and other SOC/interface protocols.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
- Developing and executing test plans to validate subsystem functionality.
- Troubleshooting and resolving design and verification issues.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design and verification processes.

Requirements:
- Sound understanding of digital design concepts.
- Basic understanding of HVLs (Verilog/SV) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with scripting in Shell, Perl, or TCL.
- Ability to work flexibly as an all-rounder in front-end design, verification, and implementation flows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and superior communication abilities.
