Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Driving the creation and adoption of Low Power Methodology and features into leading edge chip design customer flows.
  • Interacting with customers to translate their design needs and provide feedback to define the product roadmap.
  • Creating user enhancement requirement specifications for driving development in the products.
  • Developing methodology and usage roll out and support collaterals.
  • Providing proactive technical support to internal customers (Field Application engineering team) and occasionally to external customers during product evaluation, deployments, and post-sales activities.
  • Collaborating closely across cross-functional and cross-product global teams to ensure alignment and completeness of the full flow design methodology.

Requirements:

  • BE/BTech in Electronics Engineering.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, or Python; knowledge of C/C++ is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the overall chip design implementation process and experience with ASIC design methodologies.
  • Experience with EDA tools and CAD engineering.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Design Automation products in the area of synthesis and physical design implementation.
  • Understanding of Low Power Methodology and concepts such as Power Optimization, Power Analysis, and Multi-Voltage.

About the team:

You will be part of the Product Engineering (PE) team, focusing on shaping the direction and development of Low Power Methodology across platforms. This team collaborates closely with cross-functional and cross-product global teams, ensuring the alignment and completeness of the full flow design methodology. Your role will involve frequent interaction with internal and external customers, providing critical technical support and feedback to drive product enhancements.
