Job description:
NIELIT Recruitment 2025: The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has announced notification for the Project Engineer / Resource Person / Senior Resource / Person (Admin) / Resource Person posts. There are 15 openings available for these posts.
Candidates with B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / B.Com / MBA / Master’s Degree qualifications are eligible to apply for these posts. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the Walk-in Interview on 02, 03, 06, 07, 08 & 09 January 2025. The detailed eligibility and selection process for NIELIT Jobs are explained below.
Educational qualifications:
Technical:
Project Engineer (3DP/AM):
- B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical/Production Engineering with expertise in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing.
- Experience in handling classes for AM, CAD for AM, CAD modeling, Process Design, 3D Printer installation, operation, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering.
- Good communication skills.
- Desirable: M.Tech in Design/Manufacturing.
Project Engineer (IoT):
- B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engg/IT/EEE/Electronics and Instrumentation/ECE), M.Sc (Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Applied Electronics/Physics), or equivalent with First Class from a recognized university/institution.
- Desirable: Post-graduate level training in IoT, experience in Python and Embedded C Programming, hands-on knowledge of Embedded Linux & RTOS, exposure to Embedded Device Driver Development.
Project Engineer (RPA):
- B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engg/IT/EEE/Electronics and Instrumentation/ECE), M.Sc (Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Applied Electronics/Physics), or equivalent with First Class from a recognized university/institution.
- Desirable: Proven ability to manage training sessions for technocrats and engineers, RPA expertise, and practical knowledge of UiPath tools.
Resource Person (Embedded Systems):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in CS/Computer Engg/IT/EEE/Electronics and Instrumentation/ECE/Biomedical Engg/Instrumentation & Control.
- Desirable: Post-graduate level training in Embedded Systems/IoT/VLSI, experience in Python/Embedded C Programming or Verilog, working knowledge of Embedded Microcontrollers/FPGA Designs.
Resource Person (Project Associate):
- B.E/B.Tech (CS/Computer Engg/IT/EEE/Electronics and Instrumentation/ECE), M.Sc (CS/IT/Electronics/Applied Electronics/Physics), or equivalent with First Class from a recognized university/institution.
- Desirable: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Resource Person (Cyber Security):
- B.E/B.Tech in ECE/Computer Science and Engg/IT or DOEACC B-level or MCA/M.Sc in CS with strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and Linux server administration.
- Desirable: Post-graduate program/diploma in Information System Security, experience in cybersecurity and Linux server administration teaching.
Resource Person (Data Science):
- B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in CS/IT or DOEACC B-level or MCA/M.Sc in CS/Statistics/Mathematics, with good knowledge of programming. B.Sc (CS) or BCA with 1 year of experience in data science.
- Desirable: Strong understanding of Linux Bash scripting, Java, Cassandra/R, Python, ML, DL, neural networks, Hadoop, Map Reduce (Pig, Hive, HBase, Spark, Python).
Resource Person (IT):
- B.E. (CS/IT)/B.Tech (CS/IT)/MCA/DOEACC ‘B’ Level/M.Sc (CS/IT) or higher.
- Desirable: Strong writing and communication skills, expertise in teaching MS Office, web designing, Python, IoT, computer hardware/maintenance, networking, Linux OS. Willingness to learn and deliver training to professionals.
Training:
Resource Person (Training):
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or higher.
- Desirable: Good communication skills, familiarity with MS Office tools, proficiency in social media, and adaptability to online management systems.
Admin & A/C:
Senior Resource Person (Admin):
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) with computer proficiency.
- Essential Experience: 5 years.
- Desirable: MBA in General Administration/HR, experience in GEM/CPP procurement, eOffice, and audit reports, good communication skills, and Microsoft Office tools.
Resource Person (Admin Assistant):
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) with computer proficiency, preferably NIELIT ‘CCC’ or higher certification.
- Essential Experience: 2 years.
- Desirable: Good communication skills, familiarity with MS Office tools, customer-friendly and service-oriented.
Resource Person (Accounts Assistant):
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized university/institution with knowledge of Tally.
- Essential Experience: 2 years
Duration of engagement: The positions available are purely on a temporary contractual basis on consolidated emolument initially for a period of One (01) Year and extendable maximum up to Three (03) years on Yearly Basis or will be co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier.

Salary details:
