Zypp Electric is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As a Testing Intern, you will be responsible for development of testing plans, scripts, etc. You will also work with multiple stakeholders to perform manual testing, fixing bugs, and support the senior QA Engineers for various other technical requirements.
- Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Document and report bugs, issues, and inconsistencies using [Bug Tracking Tool, e.g., Jira].
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and ensure quality.
- Support in executing automated test scripts under the guidance of senior QA Engineers.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure software meets business and functional requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on product quality.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) is a bonus but not required.
