Job description:
City Greens is conducting an internship for the post of Embedded Hardware Development Intern.
Role: Assist in designing, assembling, and deploying IoT devices and control panels for farm automation.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and prototyping of PCBs for IoT devices.
- Assemble and test IoT devices and control panels.
- Perform on-site installation of control panels and hardware at customer farms.
- Need to handle inventory management and procurement.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues during installation and deployment.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of circuit design and soldering.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., KiCad, Eagle).
- Interest in working hands-on with electronics, sensors, and actuators.
- Ability to work on-site for farm automation deployments.
Contract Duration: 3 months
Benefits:
- Stipend: Nil (unpaid).
- Compensation: No financial stipend during the contract period.
- Certificate of completion: A certificate will be awarded at the end of the contract upon successful completion.
- Future opportunity: Based on performance during the contract, there is a possibility of being promoted to a permanent position.
