Job description:
Microsoft is conducting an interview for the post of Software Engineer.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Acts as subject matter expert for configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring Azure
- Database/Managed Instance services.
- Identifies opportunities and implement automation to resolve and reduce live-site incidents.
- Owns, triages, investigates, and resolves service issues with emphasis on broad communications, learning, and teaching throughout the process.
- Interacts with customers, spanning from technical to executive level, responding to escalations from support or service outages.
- Drives initiatives and projects across the organization.
- Periodic on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
