Job description:
Ansys is seeking highly motivated and talented interns to contribute to the development of an integrated workflow for creating an AEDT to Perceive EM plugin that automates communication and radar workflows.
Perceive EM is a GPU-based solver technology for HFSS SBR+, designed to run high-fidelity simulations in real time. Perceive EM connects our solution to SiL, MiL, and HiL verification systems and helps users generate synthetic data for AI/ML training. Automating existing projects in SBR+ to Perceive EM can increase the adoption of the headless (API-based) GPU solver. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects related to communication, radar, AI/ML, and Python.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Intern will learn
- Advanced simulations in communication and radar applications
- Usage of Ansys HFSS-SBR+ and Perceive EM solver technology
- Automation of Ansys product using PyAEDT
- Create a Python Toolkit to interface AEDT (HFSS SBR+) with Perceive EM
- Documentation and testing
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:
- Engineering Stream: Electronics and Communication,
- Pursuing BE degree during the internship starts
- Relevant subjects studied during the course work and strong fundamentals in any of the below set of subjects
- RF, Antenna Design, Subjects in Electronics & Communication
- Ready to work at the advertised location without requiring relocation assistance by Ansys
- Good knowledge on Python to Automate Ansy AEDT and PerviceEM
- Motivated to learn. Strong problem solving, communication (written & verbal) and time management skills
- Demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting in fluent English
- Willing to build a career in Simulation
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Programming experience with Python, or C++
- Experience in some machine learning models (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.)
