Job description:
Synopsys is conducting an apprenticeship for Engineers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Running QA and regression tests for developed Process Design Kits (PDKs).
- Participating in the development of PDKs for Synopsys customers.
- Providing technical assistance in resolving issues that require a deeper understanding of the tools.
- Developing and delivering product training material.
Requirements:
- Should be a graduate engineer (2023/2024) in Computer Science or Electronics.
- Solid understanding of circuit designs and related design methodologies.
- Good knowledge of CMOS fundamentals and familiarity with ASIC design flow, and/or VLSI design methodologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, etc.
- Strong debugging skills and a passion for solving engineering problems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate discussions in a small group.
