Job description:
Veriant is looking for Trainees in Bangalore.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Quickly learn new programming languages and tools to contribute to product development.
- Take ownership of tasks from start to finish and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality products.
- Verify test scripts against business requirements, understand and interpret functional requirements, and actively resolve testing issues and risks.
- Manage test scripts, test cases, and resul lts using standard testing tools such as JIRA and report portal.
- Maintain the health of automated test suites.
Qualifications required:
- Experience in the range of 0 to 1 year.
- Hands-on programming experience, preferably in Java; proficiency in other languages is also considered.
- Strong understanding of data structures, logic, and programming concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly to meet business requirements.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of REST API, Selenium WebDriver, and version control tools.
- Exposure to Selenium WebDriver, REST API, and version control tools.
- Understanding of software testing concepts.
