Description:
This is an on-site internship role for an Electrical Engineering Intern at Quintrans located in Pune.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineering Intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to electrical engineering, electricity, analytical skills, electrical design, and communication within a real-world work environment.
Qualifications required:
- Assist in the design and integration of HV/LV power systems, including battery interfaces, DC distribution, and power conversion
- Contribute to safety and protection system design, including overcurrent protection, thermal cutoffs, and grounding strategies
- Work on wire harness design, routing, and layout for power systems (e.g., Batteries, Controllers, Grid Substations)
- Collaborate with the mechanical and control teams to ensure system-level safety, reliability, and performance
- Participate in schematic drafting, component selection, and bring-up/testing of electrical subsystems
Requirements:
- Final year B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a recent graduate
- Solid understanding of power systems, circuit protection, and electrical safety standards
- Experience or coursework in low-voltage and high-voltage design, electrical layouts, and component integration
- Familiar with tools like Altium, Eagle, or KiCAD for schematic/layout and basic simulation tools for power analysis
- Bonus if you’ve worked on EVs, robotics, energy systems, or built your own power projects
- Detail-oriented but innovative—someone who can engineer solutions that are both safe and elegant
- Preferably based out of Pune or Mumbai
