Calix is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Trainee.
As a QA Salesforce Intern, you will be an integral part of their Quality Assurance team, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our Salesforce solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our development and support teams, gaining hands-on experience in testing, analysing, and optimizing our Salesforce implementations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
- Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide feedback on product quality and usability to the development team.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices.
Qualifications required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, graduating in 2024/2025.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Salesforce platform and its functionalities is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
