Job description:
Cadence is looking for Verification Engineers who will be involved in the validation of Protium runtime.
About the team:
Protium is an Enterprise Level Prototyping Platform . This team is responsible for verification and benchmarking of this platform .
Duties and responsibilities:
- Writing testcases using Verilog/System Verilog / C / C++ / TCL for functional and performance validation of Protium runtime.
- Maintaining and running regression suites using optimal farm resources .
- Analyzing and reporting failures on every build , with focus on analyzing and reporting all failures within a designated time period.
- Building Expertise in Protium runtime and the ability to help other team members with runtime.
- Functional debug / triaging failures and driving things to closure .
- Provide feedback for the optimization of the Protium runtime features.
Requirements:
- B.Tech / M.Tech (EE) – must have a good knowledge of Digital Logic Systems /Timing Analysis etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of Verilog and System Verilog is desirable .
- Good Analytical and Problem solving Skills .
- Ability to write scripts in bash/tcl/perl/python
- Familiarity with UNIX is a plus , so is knowledge of LSF / SGE/ NC or any other compute farm.
- Knowledge of simulation, emulation and prototyping technologies is a plus .
- Freshers and candidates with 1-3 years of experience in similar roles can apply .
