Job description:
Infineon Technology is hiring for the post of Staff Engineer.
Strong Knowledge of Package outline drawing, Recommended Footprint drawing, packing drawings, 3D models and PCB assembly technologies
Duties and responsibilities:
In your new role you will:
- Drive package technology development projects (Technical CAD drawings, 3D models) from concept to production, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
- Enable mass market products by collaborating with cross-functionalteams, including design, manufacturing, quality, sales, Marketing,Product development and Ensure all CAD drawings (Electrical / Mechanical/ Thermal) comply with industry standards and company guidelines withsuccessful product launches
- Develop and implement automation concepts to reduce costs andexecution time, improving overall efficiency and productivity
- Manage and develop vendors, suppliers and team of engineers andtechnicians, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensuregrowth and success
- Develop and manage the portfolio of package technologies, ensuringalignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Drive organizational development and strategic projects, identifyingopportunities for growth and improvement
- Develop and maintain design flow infrastructure, EDA tool development
- Package Technology development:
- Strong Knowledge of Package outline drawing, Recommended Footprint drawing, packing drawings, 3D models and PCB assembly technologies
- Strong knowledge in Lead frame, Die, Bond wires and electronic components
- Knowledge in Part model guidelines JEP30 is an added advantage
- Develop and maintain the quality, KPI and delivery of package drawings 2D documents, 3D models to Infineon website and to Datasheet Community
Requirements:
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on package technology development including design, simulation, and testing
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing and mentoring engineers and technicians
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience inworking with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Self-motivated, Strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuouslearning
- Develop Automation concepts, infrastructure and maintenance
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes andtechnologies
- Proficient in 3D & 2D CAD drawings with tools like AutoCAD mechanical, Inventor etc..
- Good knowledge in Geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) and Annotations, JEDEC standards, Mechanical Engineering drawing standards(ISO, ASME)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
