EMotorad is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Duration: 6 Months Internship | Opportunity for Full-Time Conversion
Joining: Immediate (Within 15 Days)
Duties and responsibilities:
As a Hardware Intern, you’ll be actively involved in designing, developing, testing, and debugging hardware systems for electric bikes, including:
- Schematic design and multi-layer PCB layout (up to 6 layers)
- Low and mid-power electronics (e.g., BMS, MCU, Chargers)
- Microcontroller-based circuits and communication protocols (UART, SPI, CAN, I2C)
- Power topologies: Flyback, Half-bridge, LLC, etc.
- EMI/EMC reduction and basic functional safety concepts
- Board bring-up, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Tools: Altium, KiCad, LTspice, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, SMD soldering
Requirements:
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in EEE/ECE (2024/2025 batch preferred)
- Strong fundamentals in circuit design and debugging
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium/KiCad/OrCAD/Eagle)
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (Atmel, STM, TI, NXP)
- Clear interest in EVs, power electronics, and hardware innovation
- Immediate availability
