Job description:
MELSS is looking for fresher Business Development Engineer.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Understand and promote the company’s electronic products, systems, and services.
- Identify new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to prepare customized proposals and solutions.
- Assist in pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and gather feedback to inform product improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategy development.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, documentation, and client databases.
Required skills:
- Strong technical knowledge in electronics and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Willingness to travel for client visits, demos, and exhibitions.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / ECE / Electrical / Instrumentation (BE/B.Tech) or B.Sc (Electronics / Physics / Chemistry).
- 0–1 years of experience (freshers welcome).
- Interest in sales, marketing, and customer engagement within a technical domain.
Preferred qualifications:
- Internship or coursework involving technical sales or product marketing.
- Basic understanding of electronic systems like embedded systems.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software (optional).
