Job description:
Swiggy is hiring for the post of Associate Software Test Engineer.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct functional testing of mobile applications (Android/iOS) to ensure seamless performance.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy for efficient testing workflows.
- Demonstrate understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.
- Manage defect life cycle, including severity and priority assessments.
- Attention to detail in multi-platform testing scenarios.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute and validate test cases based on requirements.
Requirements:
- Solid grasp of Testing principles and methodologies.
- Fundamental understanding of HTTP and REST concepts.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in Java, Selenium, or Appium is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud mobile testing tools like LambdaTest and BrowserStack is a plus.
