Eligibility criteria:

Age Limit:

  • UR/EWS: 35 years
  • OBC (Non-creamy Layer): 38 years
  • SC/ST: 40 years
  • Relaxation up to 10 years for Divyangjan candidates and as per Government rules for Ex-servicemen and serving Central Civilian Government employees.

Educational qualifications:

  • At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology (for disciplines like Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) or Master’s Degree (for disciplines like Entomology, Bio Statistics, Psychology, etc.)
  • Valid GATE score in the relevant discipline.
  • Equivalent qualifications as specified (e.g., Entomology, Statistics, Clinical Psychology, etc.).
  • Candidates with foreign degrees must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities by 31 July 2025.
  • For institutes without a First Class criterion, 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (10-point scale) is considered equivalent.

Selection process:

  • Shortlisting based on valid GATE score.
  • Final selection based on performance in the Personal Interview.

Application fee:

  • ₹ 100/- for General, OBC and EWS Male candidates.
  • No fee for SC / ST / Divyangjan and Women candidates.
  • The fee should be made through online payment mode.
