Job description:
Siemens Gamesa is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Imagine stepping into a role where you collaborate closely with Fabrication specialists, transforming manual processes into efficient, automated systems. Your day will revolve around understanding current workflows and using Excel to streamline them. As you progress, you’ll introduce AI/ML techniques to enhance speed and accuracy. Engage with the FEA and Design teams for insights and guidance, all while working a balanced 8-hour day, five days a week. Your transparent communication and dedication to understanding tasks will be key to your success.
Duties and responsibilities:
- You will transform the Fabrication review process from a multi-day task into a streamlined 2-hour operation.
- You will support the development of a clear methodology for fabrication review.
- You will engage with the FEA and Design teams to gather insights and guidance.
- You will apply AI/ML techniques to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
- You will perform self-analysis using student version software from your university.
- You will provide transparent feedback on your understanding of tasks.
Requirements:
- You bring 4+2 years of academic experience and a fresh perspective on problem-solving.
- Guidance from your professors, access to student version software, and university papers will be your assets.
- You have a keen interest in automating processes and introducing innovative solutions.
- You possess strong communication skills to interact with various teams.
- You are committed to instructions and providing transparent input.
