Infineon Technologies is conducting an interview for the post of Applications Engineer.
Duties and responsibilities:
Developing and customizing firmware for reference designs, solution demos, and customers’ requirements
In your new role you will:
- Developing and customizing firmware for reference designs, solution demos, and customers’ requirements
- Validation of firmware and hardware against customer requirements
- Reviewing customer designs including schematics, layout and firmware
- Perform Interoperability and compliance tests on reference and customer designs
- Writing Application notes for Type-C and USB-PD Applications

Requirements:
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelors/Masters in Embedded System, Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science preferred
- Hands on debugging of Interface products and Microcontroller products.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, protocol analyzers, power supply and electronic load
- Understanding of various host interfaces: USB, I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
- Knowledge of analog design, power management circuits like switching regulator/LDO/DC-DC converters
- Experience in embedded system design or applications
- Hands on lab experience for board bring-up and debugging of analog circuits, voltage regulators, and power distribution circuits
