Description:
InfinityX Innovations is seeking a passionate Mechanical Design Intern to join the team and contribute to product development projects. The intern will work closely with our engineering team on CAD modeling, prototyping, and documentation for our next-gen EV technologies.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for prototyping and manufacturing
- Assist in the design iterations, assembly drawings, and tolerance analysis
- Prepare clear and structured documentation for all design work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics and operations
- Support product testing and development cycles as needed
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, and CAD tools
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Ability to produce professional-level documentation and technical drawings
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
- Must be available for 4 to 6 months full-time internship
- Willingness to work from our Bangalore office
Preferred qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering
- Prior internship or project experience in product design or mechanical prototyping
