Job description:
SKF India is conducting an interview for the post of Electrical & Electronics Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Selecting motors, control boards, control elements, power switches, sensors, actuators and designing cables/ harnesses and connectors
- Designing hardware components of PCB’s and PCBA’s, layout, schematics
- Project management, Coordinating with partners
- Architecture design
- Specifying, designing, building and documenting of embedded software
- PLC selection and programming for automation purposes
- Defining and executing test plans.
- Ensuring compliance/ Regulations (CE, EMC/ EMI, UL…)
Competencies:
- Hardware skills in embedded control systems design, Circuit design analog and digital, communication, power, motor drive, schematic design, PCB layout, hardware debugging and troubleshooting
- Good in translating customer requirement to hardware requirement
- Knowledge of
- Firmware & Software development: Languages C, C++, Java,JavaScript,HTML
- Protocols: ethernet, CAN, UDP/IP, TCP/IP, HTTP, USB, Wifi,Bluetooth,SPI,UART
- Tools: Eclipse, GIT, Atmel Studio
- Operating systems: Windows, IOS, Android, FreeRTOS
- Platforms: ST Micro, Atmel, Microchip, Texas instruments, FreeScale
- Experience in relevant software development tools(e.g. ARM M0, M4/ Eclipse- Kinetis)
- Good in memory and power management
- Should have extensive knowledge in schematics design for control boards
- Knowledge in motor types and selection
- Good understanding on Tests and certification like CE, CCC, EMI/EMC Radio etc.
- Strong communication skills (written & Verbal) & Project Management skills with Problem
- Solving Mindset
- Knowledge on PLC is an added advantage
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s in Electronics or relevant Engineering qualification
- 4-8 yrs. of experience in Embedded Hardware
- Preferable to have major experience in Embedded hardware (or) Mechatronics software development. ( Preferably in Industrial or automation domain) and integration of electrical components like motor, controllers, power switches, sensors
