Job description:
Elevate is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare test cases for testing existing and new features in the application.
- Should be able to Record results in a centralized Defect Management system.
- Should be able to do Record and describe failed test cases.
- Provide status reports on a per-application basis.
- The candidate will be responsible for executing the test cases for all types of manual testing.
- Should be able to write and execute automation test cases.
- The candidate will be responsible for the Test Performance of web-based software products and generate reports.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Have good knowledge of SDLC and have done manual and automated testing.
- Knowledge of various frameworks, technologies, and best practices for Software Quality Assurance.
- Have excellent communication skills and experience in interacting with clients in the US and UK.
Essentials skills:
- Knowledge of automation and has scripting background.
- Candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a 24/7 working environment.
- Knowledge in any scripting language like Java and python.
- Good knowledge of database queries and scripts.
- Knowledge of a test management tool like QC, VS / TFS, JIRA.
- Knowledge of a test automation tool like Selenium, Protractor.
- Knowledge of performance testing tool like JMeter.
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years experience testing SaaS Products with 2 years of experience of automation testing.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) or equivalent.
- Certifications in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
