About the group:

The Product Assurance Engineering Team (part of Quality) is accountable and responsible for the verification and validation of NPI products in Seagate’s HDD, SSD and Systems portfolios. Each team member has a role in making successful Seagate products while having an opportunity to learn about advanced technology, Seagate’s product portfolio, and growing individual leadership skills. We have a strong team environment while recognizing outstanding individual contributions. Specifically, this role will lead the product Compliance teams in Pune, India, and Longmont, CO. You will be part of Seagate’s Quality organization and a critical member of a motivated team that delivers results!

Job duties and responsibilities:

be working on electrical test equipment like Oscilloscope, Analyzers, Power Supplies, GPIB communication
be working on Storage system product safety testing as per UL/IEC international standard requirements
be working on various countries product certification requirements like BIS, UL, TUV etc
be working on storage product operations and its electrical safety principles through In-house testing, documentation
be working on continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job
be performing other duties as directed
