Job description:
AMD Xilinx is conducting an interview for the post of Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- FPGA based hardware system design and Application development
- RTL Coding and System level simulation
- Ethernet, PCIe and DDR based Embedded solution development
- Work closely with the team and cross site stakeholders to understand the requirements and deliverables
- Be part of a team focused on development of Xilinx UltraScale+ MPSoC and Versal solutions
- Coding/supporting in HLS Implementation of Optimized algorithms.
- Interact with multiple teams across Xilinx for efficient system level debug
- Strong expertise in debugging and root-cause analysis, reporting failures, problem recreation and verification of the fixes
Job Requirements:
- FPGA based System design and Application development
- Experience in RTL IP development, system level verification, validation and debugging
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
- Detail understanding and proven track record of designing leading edge standard high speed interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet
- Good understanding of system design aspects and its impact on performance and throughput
- Familiarity with electrical challenges w.r.t high speed link design & testing on-board
- Experience with Linux based embedded solutions development is preferred
