Job description:
ASIMOV Robotics is conducting an interview for the post of Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the research and design of new products, modules and systems. They perform various tasks in an engineering department including drafting designs, creating test prototypes, and overseeing the manufacturing process. To achieve this, you will be working as individual as well as a team addressing internal and external projects. Your work will enable the company to bring in innovative and efficient mechanical design which is aesthetically appealing as well as optimize algorithmic overhead subjected to a functionality of end product.
You need to be a skillful and creative design engineer with a focus on innovation and product optimization. The job includes design, integrate, debug, document, qualify, and support those solutions through an entire product development lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- This role will need a bachelor’s degree [BS/BTech/BE(ME/BDes)] or higher with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- The candidate must process excellent communication skills to be able communicate the ideas to vendors and customers.
- Proficiency with Mechanical CAD programs such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor
- Proficiency with Statistical analysis methods and tools preferred
- Experience delivering solutions for high-volume production is preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in mechatronic design (motion, vision, sensors) System (Electrical and Mechanical) knowledge
Knowledge in:
- Working with sheet metal, CNC, and additive manufacturing is an added advantage
- Working with NPD, GD&T, DFMEA, Tolerance St mackup analysis
