Mechanical Chef have an opening for PCB and circuit designers who want to work on robots and appliances in Bangalore.

• Are as excited as we are about robotics
• Have built electronic circuits and designed PCBs of your own – and know quite a bit about power circuitry, motors and actuators
• Love learning about how electronics systems work and how products are manufactured
• Can do some basic coding – yes, microcontrollers use programming languages
• and are a good learner – you will have to learn many things that fall outside your area of expertise.

When you apply, please talk about any and all projects where you did any of the above and highlight your contributions if it was done in a group. Mechanical Chef is interested in any circuit you’ve designed – be it at home, or something you’ve done for fun.

The position is very hands-on. You will get to build your own prototypes and see them working. So you have to be good at (or willing to learn to be good at) soldering and know how to (or be willing to learn to) handle a range of micro-controllers.
