Clutterbot is conducting an internship for Engineers.
About the Role:
We are looking for an intern to join our mechatronics team responsible for design and development of robot prototypes. The candidate will assist in designing, prototyping, building and testing of electromechanical systems at the systems and subsystem level.
The duration of internship will be for 3 months initially, with a possibility of extending to 6 months and/or a potential full-time position based on performance. You’ll be joining a small close-knit team who’s excited about building a new kind of home robot.
Essential responsibilities:
- Design robot prototype parts using Solidworks 3D CAD software.
- In-house 3D printing of prototype parts and maintenance of 3D printers.
- Assembly and testing of robots as per the standard operating procedures/manuals.
- Designing of arduino based test rigs for testing electronic components/motors/actuators.
- Usage of laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, function generator, soldering station, etc.
- Maintain and update documentation for design/assembly/testing procedures/manuals.
Qualifications and Experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or final year engineering student in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering
- Hands-on relevant experience of robotics/mechanics/3d printing systems ideally in an academic environment, research labs or multi-disciplinary environment.
- Preference will also be given to candidates who can start immediately.
