Job description:
Synopsys is conducting an internship for Engineers.
The candidate will be part of the Solutions Group, India. The position offers learning and growth opportunities. This is a Technical Individual Contributor role and offers challenges to work in a multi-site environment on technically challenging IP Cores in RTL ,Verificatio and DFT domains.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- BTech or MTech in Electrical / Electronic /microelectronics / VLSI / Embedded specialization
- Familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog
- Good understanding of Digital Design flow
- Good knowledge of English
- Ability and readiness to study and apply new tools and methodologies quickly
- Ability of debugging
- Team working capability
Preferred Experience:
- As part of Solutions Group at Synopsys India, the selected candidate would be working on various flavors of the development of DDR PHY Design Ware family of synthesizable cores, including Specification, Architecting, Design for Test activities of Synopsys IP products.
- Works closely with RTL, Circuit and Physical design engineers to process with specific testing and/or debugging
- Debugs validation/simulation failures
- On the design side, the candidate would work on System level and RTL based hardware design coding languages such as Verilog, System Verilog, usage of tools for rule checking (lint, spyglass DFT), Synthesis and timing closures
- It is essential that the applicant has the aptitude to work in the VLSI domain, has good communication skills and is able to demonstrate good research, debug and problem-solving skills and be self-oriented.
