Job description:
Boson Motors is conducting an interview for the post of Firmware Engineer – BMS.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and validate next generation SOC & SOH algorithms
- Model and analyze battery data to gain insights and implement control algorithms
- Develop Simulink controls and help with embedded software design
- Develop python implementations of algorithms
- Analyze field data and iterate design
- Work with Data science team to validate the integrity of algorithms
Requirements:
- Expert using Matlab, Simulink to create mathematical models
- Experience in energy systems and the physics that describes their behaviour
- Comfortable implementing algorithms in python or similar scripting code
- Strong knowledge of Lithium battery chemistry/material science
- Knowledge of Basics of Power Electronics
