AspenTech is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This position is responsible for owning technical aspects of project delivery for OSI’s customers. You’ll be doing the design, planning, integration, testing, training, and commissioning of hardware and software requirements on a customer system based on project specifications.
- Understand project requirements through interactions with customer & internal stakeholders. Delegate tasks to other teams as necessary
- Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans
- Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems
- Provide networking and system/application design
- Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, HMI and other related functionalities
- Prepare project documentation and assist in creating training materials as needed
- Document and track progress of project activities, and report any technical issues
What You’ll Need
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering or related field
- Sound technical understanding of electrical power systems
- Experience with SCADA systems, display building, data base creation, testing and commissioning. This is preferred, not mandatory
- Understanding of networking, TCP/IP and routing principles is preferred, not mandatory
- 0 – 1 years experience band (Role fitment will be done basis number of years and quality of Relevant experience)
- Knowledge of computer programming is preferred using C / C++ / Python
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
