Job description:
Maxim Integrated is seeking an exceptional IBIS Modeling Engineer to help developing and supporting IBIS models for our industry leading IC devices.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This engineer will work in a team-oriented environment. As a key member of the team, he/she will be responsible for:
- IBIS 4.2 and 5.0 model development across all technologies.
- IBIS 4.2 and 5.0 model validation at package level (RLC package or S-parameter).
- Tools, flows and methodologies support for IBIS 4.2, IBIS 5.0 model development and validation.
- Must be a good team player and must have the ability to carry out implementation tasks independently in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- BSEE/MSEE or equivalent degree in Electronics / Electronics and communication.
- Sound knowledge on analog electronics, electromagnetism, and transmission line.
- Exposure with SPICE simulation tools like Spectre, HSPICE
- Well organized, independent and self-motivate.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and to deliver assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure smooth collaboration across functional teams or third parties.
Plus:
Exposure towards automation and scripting in PERL/Python/Shell, etc.
