Synopsys is conducting an interview for the post of Applications Engineer.
Requirements and duties:
- Verification AE’s have abundant exposure to various design styles and verification methodologies that are being used in the industry today.
- They partner with customers on New technology deployments, methodology guidance, critical issue resolution and technical account management.
- They work on activities including product demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarking. They play an key role in account planning.
- They work with the account team to develop solutions to customer problems based on their insight into the customers’ needs and issues.
- They give technical feedback to Synopsys R&D and product development teams on issues that customers face in the field, recommended enhancements, Beta testing etc.
- This position allows the person to learn the state-of-art verification flows/methodology and hone their leadership skills in driving technology campaigns.
- This role requires 0-3 years of related experience.
- The person should be knowledgeable on Verification methodologies, flows and good communication skills.
- The candidate should be proficient with C/C++, Unix, Simulation/Debug/LP verification methodologies, HDL (Verilog/VHDL/System Verilog) and Testbench Methodologies(OVM/UVM).
- The candidate must be a good team player and have excellent negotiation, planning and customer interfacing skills
