Log9 Materials is conducting an internship for Electrical or Electronics Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As an Electrical Design and development engineer, you will be responsible for the all the Electrical components of Advanced EV Battery Pack Design, development, and its integration with the vehicle platforms. Your role will involve design and efficiency optimization of the Battery packs for excellence and reliable production.
Essentail responsibilities:
- Advanced EV Battery Electrical Packaging Design and Development/ESS.
- Design Documentation (Electrical Schematics), Electrical Circuit design, Standard BOM preparation (Part and Assembly Level), Switchgear selection.
- Cross functional team Interactions (Design-Development, Manufacturing and Supply chain)..
- Assisting the manufacturing and Process team for scale-up of the battery pack production.
- Liaising with testing agencies for certifications.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Electrical Design experience in ESS Packaging design and EV Powertrain integration (Knowledge on Different types of EV Batteries, Cell Chemistries and Electrical Systems would be an Add-In)
- B.E/M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Relevant FSAE Tech team experience would be an Add-In
- Although 1 – 2 years of relevant experience would be preferable.
Skills Required:
- Prior Hands – on Experience in Design and Development of EV powertrains and subsystems, Busbar design, Electrical and Electronics Packaging.
- Hands – on experience on Battery pack and Vehicle integration systems (2W, 3W and 4W – LCVs and LEVs) *
- Hands-on experience in Software Packages i.e MATLAB, CAD, Ansys Electrical
- Basics of Electrical Harness systems and Electrical safety standards
- Demonstrated Skill and Passion for Electromechanical design, Prototyping and Manufacturing
- Hardware Integration and Problem-Solving ability
- Good Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Good Communication Skills.
