Texas Instruments is conducting an interview for the post of Software Engineer for ASIC Design.
Texas Instruments ASIC design problems are complex and are extremely challenging. Some of the recent advances in Software Engineering and DevOps haven’t found their way to ASIC design. Texas Instruments strongly believe that adapting best software design practices will improve ASIC design life cycle. Texas Instruments is looking for a passionate Software Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure and DevOps to bring the latest and best of the Software world to ASIC design.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Work on developing test infrastructure for ASIC design flows using templating and scripting methods
- Collaborate with ASIC design teams to improve productivity
- Adapt best software engineering practices to ASIC design
- Collaborate with design teams for design automation
Skills required:
- Expert knowledge in object oriented programming techniques
- Knowledge of compilers and compiler design
- Auto Code-Generation techniques
- Expert in Python programming language
- Familiarity with implementation of hardware designs using SystemC is a plus
