Job description:
Veoneer is conducting an interview for the post of Application Algorithm Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Understanding Vehicle Structure and Crash Sensing Architecture
- Understanding New Car Assessment Program – Bharath NCAP
- Comprehend new algorithms, understand the specific needs of customers, specify new algorithm features, and support validations
- Understand crash testing data, process it into a Veoneer format and present it for review
- Simulate deployment times from a crash algorithm using Veoneer standard calibration tools
- Defining the Application Calibration strategy, Options, and trade offs
- Developing system level automotive software validation activities
- Plan and track progress of engineering assignments
- Co-ordinate engineering activities for AUTOSAR product development
Qualifications and Experience required:
- M.TECH in “Mechanical / Aerospace / Electronics and Communication / Electrical and Electronics, with 0 to 3 Years Experience in Algorithm Application Development
- Good Educational background on Physics, Dynamics and Control Systems
- Knowledge on MATLAB Simulink would be a plus
