Raytheon Technologies is conducting an interview for the post of Electrical/Electronic Certification, Qualification Engineer.
Overview:
In this role the EE engineer is responsible for Aerospace Electrical/Electronic certification, Qual & Testing activities
Position: Associate Engineer (P1)
Job duties and responsibilities:
- 1 to 3 years Experience in Experience in Electrical/EMI domain.
- Experience in Certification, Qualification & Testing and documentation and coordination of qual/cert activities.
- Experience in DO-254 processes and documentation, Procedures and Testing
- Writing and reviewing qualification documents (QTP, QTR, Similarity and Analysis Reports, etc.), review customer requirements for qualification.
- Ensures compliance with customer, industry, company and regulatory specifications and requirements.
- Working knowledge in electrical component, testing, certification & qualification (Actuators, power supply, Lighting, IFE, peripheral module)
- Perform system safety analysis and LRU safety analysis per Boeing / Airbus Specification
- Creations of Electrical Integration test plan / reports as per standards
- Good understanding of EMI/EMC requirements, interpreting Test results and creation of EMI/EMC reports as per DO-254, Boeing & Airbus standards
- Create FMEA reports for all electrical components – at board and system level.
- Understanding of grounding and bonding requirements of system and make related calculations and report
- Understanding of environmental qualification requirements and creation of qualification test plan & reports.
- Working knowledge on reliability analysis (stress, de rating, FMEA, etc)
- Perform electrical load analysis calculations
- Have expert understanding on Electrical wiring diagram, schematic diagram, and wire harness
- Having working knowledge of change management (ECN process) and PLM tools (TCE)
- Good to have Design knowledge of electrical components – Analog, digital, power supply.
- Good to have experience in component selection for safety device.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Aerospace Electrical/Electronic Qualification & certification activities.
- B.E in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
