Qualcomm is hiring Board Design Engineer in Hyderabad.

Job duties and responsibilities:

As a Qualcomm Hardware Systems Engineer, you will design a complete framework or system that influences the shaping of state-of-the-art mobile, edge, auto, AR/VR, compute, IOT, wearable products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, software, testing teams, etc.) to identify hardware testing needs and integrate components into products or systems.

Applies Hardware Systems knowledge to assist in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, and/or electrical engineering applications.
Provides input for defining processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output, and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
Assists in conducting specialized analyses (e.g., feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, equipment) to establish operating data and specifications.
Develops basic system features and components to identify potential flaws or compliance issues and finds solutions.
Contributes to a specific sub-system of chipset design or develops a specific component of a subsystem.
Defines sensitivity/integrity of specific component of design and ensures platform is compatible and supported by appropriate system requirements.

Level of responsibility:

Works under supervision.
Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.
Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.
