SCIEX R&D Software department at IDC Bangalore is looking for Internship Engineer to design and implement software platform features working collaboratively with team. The selected candidate will join a team of highly skilled engineers charged with delivering the software platform for SCIEX next generation products. He or She will develop and deliver SCIEX software products features and common applications following the software development lifecycle. SCIEX offer a wide range of training opportunities to support associate’s growth.
This position of SCIEX team is located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore IDC. Job duties and responsibilities:
- Develop effective Technical Communication, Rapid Prototyping, and problem-solving skills.
- Gain sound experience in presentation\GUI Development using WPF.
- Use effectively the knowledge on data persistence and query: SQL and No SQL DB, Transact SQL, LINQ.
- Investigate software / system problems to isolate the root cause and provides innovative solutions.
- Collaborate closely with highly skilled set development Engineers/V&V Engineers who value
- WIN AS A TEAM principle in India and across the Globe to understand the functionalities and deliver a defect free application.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Currently in college working to obtain a Bachelor / Master’s degree in: Computer Science & Engg (CSE), Computer Science & Information Security (CSIS), Computer Networking & Engg (CNE), Software Engg (SE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with B.Sc Computer Science or Electronics.
- Knowledge in Windows architecture framework .NET 4 and C# Programming Language
- Knowledge in Software Design.
- Knowledge and hands-on in designing software components using OOA/OOD methodologies.
- Solid understanding of SDLC/Agile Methodologies.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to view challenges as opportunities and be proactive in finding solutions
