Google is conducting an interview for the post of Silicon Validation Engineer.

Your team designs and builds the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Google’s services. As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world’s largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our cutting-edge data centers affecting millions of Google users.

Job duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute tests to validate hardware IP blocks and integration at the system level.
- Validate design on pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms.
- Interface with software, architecture, design, and DV teams to create test plans.
- Support silicon debug and field failures.
Minimum qualifications and experience required:
- 3 years of experience in Silicon Validation or Embedded Systems, developing silicon validation test plans and test cases, silicon validation frameworks or related infrastructure.
- Experience on system debug, embedded systems or bare metal programming.
- Experience in any one of the display module validations (i.e., DSI, Display Port, MIPI protocol).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing test and debug infrastructure (software tools, lab equipment) and testlab automation scripting.
- Knowledge on display camera standards and protocols.
- Familiarity with power or performance measurement of SoCs.
