Job description:
Open Systems International is conducting an interview for the post of OSI Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Understand OSI’s monarch platform, the structure of underlying databases in SCADA, EMS, etc. and OSI’s proprietary CHRONUS high speed enterprise historian.
- Discuss project requirements with project engineering and other teams. Delegate tasks within and across the teams as necessary.
- Understand structure of competitor system database, displays, enterprise historian and reports, and devise logics to convert / migrate to OSI’s platform.
- Gather technical requirements of projects for custom development and implement backend + frontend to achieve the same.
- Automate routine tasks in project delivery to drive higher efficiency in activities.
Qualifications, experience and other requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical / Electronics / Software Engineering with 1-3 years of experience in software development.
- C# development skills plus experience in any of the following: Asp.Net, Html/JavaScript and basic SQL.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts.
- Good design and debugging skills and confidence to contribute ideas and solutions.
- Located in Bangalore or willingness to re-locate to Bangalore.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising on quality of project delivery.
