Job description:
GlobalFoundries is conducting an interview for the post of Equipment Engineer.
Introduction:
This position is for Equipment Engineer in GlobalFoundries India center at Bangalore, supporting 200mm wafer FAB in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, performing health checks, reporting, analysis and related manufacturing operations.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
- Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime. Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Team program to improve productivity and output quality of the Module and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives.
- Perform shift duties to support the running of production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
- Know how to use SPACE to monitor SPC charts. Understand all the PR rules and follow CAS correctly
- Review FDC charts to monitor equipment parameters OOC’s and follow SOP/CAS correctly
- Provide proper and accurate pass down of line issues, outstanding follow-up tasks and documentation (fill up and file the checklists).
- Ensure and follow good housekeeping and safety practice when works in the fab or in the office area
Qualifications and experience required:
- B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc/Diploma with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Electrical (Microelectronics)/ Electronics Engineering or Applied Physics
- Good understanding of basic concepts in Statistical process control, sensor data monitoring and respective SPC tools is desired.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor processing and technology is required.
- Working experience in CMOS process and process module/equipment (200mm/300mm) are strongly desired
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a globally matrixed team or environment
- Aggressive learner and a strong team player, excellent analytical skills, on-time delivery of assigned work
- Excellent verbal and written communication
