GE Aviation is conducting an interview for the post of Enterprise Application Engineering Specialist.
About the team:
The Enterprise Application Engineering Specialist will join an amazing team dedicated to delivering digitization solutions across Aerospace Engineering organization. The team focuses on providing a seamless and secure experience across all of GE Aerospace Engineering. The Enterprise Application Engineer Specialist will work with senior members of the team to design and implement digital solutions.
Job duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Partner with senior team members to support key programs and initiatives
- Ensure current and future solutions are scalable and supportable across engineering teams
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, with shifting priorities; must be comfortable with change and actively driving improvements
- Demonstrated willingness to constantly learn and improve processes and technology to move solutions forward in order to support desired outcomes.
- Clear thinker with an understanding of how new technologies impact the environment
- Ensure continuous availability of platform(s) via engineering, planned maintenance, and breakfix
- Proactively drive problem resolution to ensure automation and simplification of key services
Qualifications and experience required:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
Desired characteristics:
- Ability to learn Programming languages like C#, Java, Python, NX and Teamcenter customization
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new products quickly and comprehensively
- Certification of proficiency in any of the Programming language (C#/Java)
