Job description:

Altair is hiring a Market Intelligence Intern in Bangalore.

This internship is a great opportunity for graduate students in engineering or related fields to gain practical experience in market intelligence (data analytics) and work with a team of experienced business strategy professionals. You will be responsible for collecting and analysing confidential data on Altair products and services, and preparing reports and presentations that summarize your findings. You will also collaborate with other members of the marketing team to develop and execute market research projects.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Study customer behaviour analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Gather and analyse data from a variety of sources, including primary and secondary research.
Prepare reports and presentations that summarize the findings of your research.
Collaborate with other members of the business strategy team to develop and execute market analysis.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis.

Qualifications and experience required:

Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in engineering or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or any engineering program is a plus.
Some background in programming language is a plus.
Strong analytical and research skills is a plus.
Some programming skills, with proficiency in Excel, Python, databases, data processing, and data science.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.
