Job description:
Valeo is conducting an interview for the post of Regulations & Norms Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Analysis of automotive regulations / norms and creation of Valeo Internal Standards
- Ensure Regulatory compliance for Powertrain system products through Project Design Reviews
- Certification of Powertrain system products for Automotive applications
Essential responsibilities:
- Ability to read the Technical Regulations & Norms and understand the requirements
- Ability to interact with external test agencies & coordinate for product certifications
- Convert regulatory / legal requirements into Valeo standards & update the documents periodically
- To coordinate with PG Raise Managers & act as a proxy for Sr.Regulation Engineers on need basis
- To ensure regulatory compliance in projects by conducting design reviews & assess the risk involvedOther specific activities / critical deliveries as identified by Team Lead / Managers
- Good communication skills
Qualifications and experience required:
- BE / B.Tech – Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical preferably from a reputed Institute
- 1 to 2 years of experience in automotive product certifications or Regulations
- Mandatory experience in Regulations, Exports Homologation & Product Certification topics
