Embedded Hardware Intern | Orangewood Job | Noida, UP

Job description:

Orangewood is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern, preferably in their 2nd or 3rd year of college, to join the Hardware Engineering team as an Embedded Hardware Intern.

The ideal candidate should have a basic yet solid understanding of BLDC (Brushless DC) Motors and axial flux motors, along with some familiarity with simulation tools and microcontroller units (MCUs). This role is a great opportunity for hands-on experience in developing next-generation actuator systems.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • BLDC and Axial Flux Motor Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of BLDC and axial flux motors. This includes knowing how they work and their applications in different fields.
  • PCB Design Basics: Be able to assist in creating and designing PCB layouts and schematics, using software tools like Altium Designer or Eagle. You should understand the basics of making designs that meet electrical engineering principles.
  • Power Electronics Introduction: Gain experience in power electronics, working with components such as power MOSFETs and converters. You’ll apply this knowledge in designing circuits for power management and control.
  • Signal Analysis Skills: Learn to analyze and troubleshoot analog and digital signals, ensuring the integrity of hardware designs. This includes performing signal integrity and noise analysis.
  • Research Support: Help in research and development projects focused on BLDC and axial flux motor technology, understanding their electromagnetic principles and applications.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Currently enrolled in a college program related to electrical or hardware engineering (B.Tech ECE, EE).
  • Must have knowledge or coursework in motor operation and power electronics.
  • Interest in learning about power stages, motor control circuits, and thermal management.
  • Willingness to develop skills in analog circuit design and analysis.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of C.A.D. is a plus.
