Job duties and responsibilities:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor in Bengaluru. The Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring electromagnetic interference (EMI) compliance in all Samsung Semiconductor SSD products. This will involve working with test equipment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. SSD EMI/ESD/RF Simulation, Measurement, Analysis, Optimization
Skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field
- Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility and EMI
- Experience with troubleshooting and testing
- Experience with test equipment and software such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulations.
- Use of EMC-related modeling and simulation tools (HFSS, CST)
- Knowledge of international EMC standards such as FCC, CISPR, and IEC
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
