Job description:
Intel is looking for Physical Design Engineer with strong RTL2GDS Skills.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- This role responsibilities include Synthesis, Floor-planning, Place and Route, Timing Analysis, Convergence, IR/EM analysis, Formal verification, VCLP, DRC/LVS clean-up and delivery of the Blocks or Subsystem to SOC.
- Candidate must have owned and closed complex designs, size of 2-3Million, High performance designs with 2GHz frequency and should be experience in lower technology nodes i.e. 7nm or below.
- Should be experienced in Synopsys Tool suite or Cadence Tool Suite such as DC, ICC2/Fusion/Innovus, Primetime or alternative, Calibre/ICV, Conformal/Formality, ..etc.
- Having right mindset and ability to handle dynamic changes in RTL highly desirable.
- Holding knowledge on scripting and Design Flow understanding is a add-on advantage. Excellent debugging skills, Teamwork, professionalism and communications are a must.
Qualifications required:
- 3-6 Years of relevant Experience after a Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Electrical/ Electronic/VLSI Engineering or related field.
- Hands on Experience in working high speed, low power designs at subsystems level or chip level.
- Strong Expertise PnR, Excellent understanding on different types of CTS implementation.
- Strong Skills in problem solving, scripting, data analysis and experience with EDA tools.
- Teamwork / flexibility / ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are very important.
