Job description:
GE Healthcare is hiring for the post of Manufacturing Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up and managing the process and quality of Products and also responsible for change management process of product and process.
- Process Design, Setting of process and establishment of Products in manufacturing
- Process Validation activities.
- Managing Engineering change (ECR/ECO) & implementations in manufacturing.
- Preparation of Work instructions (SOP) & maintain revision history.
- Preparation of Device History Records(eDHR) & maintain revision history.
- Maintain PFMEA/DMR/Process Maps/Quality plans Training the team on Products, Processes & Changes.
- Product BOM maintenance in Oracle (BOM implementation, Routing)
- Managing Product cost (Labour HR, Cost roll up, BOM/ICV roll up etc…)
- Product quality trend & corrective actions
- Product problem solving and trouble shooting.
- Corrective and preventive actions for part, process failures and customer complaints.
- Managing Measuring tool/equipment calibration.
- Equipment verification & validation process.
- Equipment installation and maintenance activities.
- Equipment trouble shooting.
- Maintain good history of issues as a Master Trouble Shooting Guide.
- Equipment maintenance and plan
- Implement FMI’s on the Products as applicable
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics
- Hands on experience of 1.5 to 3 Years in Diagnostic imaging – Product manufacturing industry
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in Healthcare industry with ISO 13485 certification is preferable
