Job description:
Samsonite is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Support to Achieve Assembly Objectives:
- Achieve daily & monthly production targets as per plan of assembly.
- Reduced scrap/rejection of material and improve yield of assembly.
- Improve EMDR of assembled bags.
- Maintain discipline on shop floor.
- Learn about all ERP sessions related to inventory management.
Plan to achieve objectives:
- Attend quality issues of assembly process.
- Daily input and output data records updating in excel file.
Manufacturing excellence:
- Responsible for Implementation & Sustenance of 5S in Assembly Dept.
- Responsible for doing Kaizen in assembly.
- Identify cost saving areas and process improvements by making low-cost jigs, fixtures and improve productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Experience Requirements: Fresher
