Job description:
Semtech is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This position is part of hardware / RF engineering organization. Successful candidates are part of Global hardware board design team, to build IOT router or Modules related products. Participate in circuit board design career, Design implementation and verification.
- Debug Analog / Digital design, mixed signal design and high speed design,
- Power supply design types: DC to DC convertors, Switch mode Regulators and LDOs
- DFMEA, VA/VE, DFM, DFT, Failure and Root cause analysis.
- HW design and development process
- techniques and systems and language platforms.
Skills required:
- Good knowledge of transistors/ Mosfets /PLs/OPAMP all related to HW components and its applications
- Good oral and written communication skills are must.
- Good Digital logic design skills, understanding of processor architecture.
- Good understanding of circuit theory and power supply implementation.
Qualification and experience required:
- Bachelors/ masters in Electronics, E&C or similar discipline
- Product design knowledge with Application Processors, DDR subsystems, Industry leading protocols viz., PCIe, USB etc.
- Experience in handling equipment like Oscilloscope, DVMs, Signal Generators, RF measurement Spectrum analysers and debugging tools.
